1. Information We Collect

Our philosophy is simple: we cannot lose data that we do not have. SGNL.fm is designed to function with minimal personal information.

  • Apple ID Authentication: When you register or sign in using "Sign in with Apple," we receive an anonymized token to verify your identity. We do not see or store your original Apple password.
  • Subscription Status: We store data related to your subscription status (e.g., Free Trial, Premium, Expired) to ensure you have access to the correct features. This is processed via Apple's StoreKit.
  • No Behavioral Tracking: We do not collect data on which channels (Focus, Energy, Zen) you listen to, nor do we build a profile of your listening habits for advertising or recommendation purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we handle is used solely for the following purposes:

  • To authenticate your account and restore your purchases.
  • To grant the initial 48-hour Premium access upon registration.
  • To process subscription renewals and cancellations via the App Store.
  • To provide customer support if you contact us directly.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party service providers for core infrastructure:

  • Apple App Store: Handles all payment processing. SGNL.fm does not store your credit card information.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: We use secure cloud servers to deliver audio content. These logs are ephemeral and not linked to user identities.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your account token only as long as you use the service. You have the full right to delete your account at any time.

To Delete Your Account: You can delete your account directly within the App via Settings > Delete Account. This action is irreversible and will remove your account token from our system immediately.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by revising the date at the top of the policy.
